In 3K today, we made Rainbow Toast. It is super easy to make. We mixed our condensed milk with food coloring to make "paint" and then painted our piece of bread. This cooking experience was fun and the kids did not even realize they were learning. Science, art, and language development all in one activity! In a small group setting we talked about the different colors we were using and the ingredients. We also talked about the taste and if we liked the bread or not.

We are at the last week in April! The Super Student activity is going well and Lucy was the SS today. It is fun to get to know everyone a little better and the students love sharing photos of their families. This week we are enjoying some nice spring weather and learning about nature. 3K will read the story "The Tiny Seed" and discuss parts of a flower. We will also be making some rainbow toast on Thursday!
